HIKE THE CATHEDRAL BY CANDLELIGHT
Saturday, October 31 at 700pm 
Experience something different for Halloween!  Take a walk back in time to meet a lumberman from the 1800’s who will lead us on a candlelit tour through the Cook Homestead, then show us the old bracket dam along Tom’s Run.  Ancient trees and old stories abound.  Moving the lumber downstream to markets in Pittsburgh was a very dangerous job! (2 hrs)

CHRISTMAS IN THE VILLAGE
November 6-7
Hosted by the Tionesta Market Village and held annually on the first Saturday in November, this special shopping event takes place in the Market Village, and throughout downtown Tionesta. Featuring live music, food and a visitor from the North Pole! There will be free coffee, free cookies, a free wine tasting and unique gifts.

WALK ACROSS THE SKY!
One of the most striking times of the year to witness the burst of fall colors as they transform the landscape is from the Kinzua Bridge Skywalk. ⁣Named “One of the World’s Top 10 Most Scenic Skywalks” by Culture Trip, the skywalk is an engineering marvel offering breathtaking views of the Kinzua Gorge from the staggering height of 225 feet. At the end of the 624′ long skywalk is a partial glass overlook, which offers a bird’s eye view of the forest floor.

BUGLE WITH ELK
From mid September through late October, bull elk can often be seen at the forest edge (and in neighbors backyards) preparing to battle other males for the right to mate. Entry is free and is only a short scenic drive from Gateway Lodge!

Enjoy the beautiful backdrop of Apple Castle farm while picking apples right off the tree October 3rd, 10th, 12th, 17th and 24th from 10am–4pm. $1 tractor rides to the orchard will be available on Saturday October 3rd, 10th & 17th.
