Bring your skis and venture out onto Cook Forest’s cross-country skiing trails, our favorite being Fire Tower Road, which is easily accessible from Route 36 and offers an impressive loop through the old-growth forest. Some tap into their inner child with a skate on Cook Forest’s lit ice skating pond along River Road or slide belly down on the giant sled riding hill across from MacBeth’s Store. All this winter fun may tire you, but not to worry because your room has a fireside jetted tub with bubble bath soap included.
