Holiday Traveler’s Package

It’s time for a holiday midweek retreat to the magic and solace of Gateway Lodge in Cook Forest State Park. After Christmas, soak up three nights, December 26th to the 29th, in a fireside suite or gallery room. You’ll receive meal credits toward Gateway Lodge’s Wild Crafter’s menu on Tuesday and also on Wednesday night of your stay.

While here during your holiday retreat, venture out to nearby cross-country ski trails, a skating pond, and sled riding hills. Cozy up with a good book next to the Christmas tree in our great room with and enjoy our wood-burning fireplace. Or play a game of pool in our billiards room. And if you are a wildlife lover, take a stroll to nearby River Road to spot a river otter or two playing on the ice.

Inside the lodge, Gateway’s Gallery Rooms offer your choice of a single queen bed or two full beds. The Fireside Suites have a king or queen bed with a gas fireplace and jetted tub. With either room, receive a scratch-made breakfast delivered to your door each morning.

Consider traveling solo or inviting another couple or two to celebrate with you. Christmas season is our favorite time of the year! We’ll celebrate with live musical entertainment in the restaurant on Tuesday and Wednesday night of your stay.
